Ohio State Defense Force (OHSDF) Joint Signal will conduct an AUXC qualification run including activation of the OHSDF PACE Information Network (OPIN) on 18 July 2026. IP, VHF, and HF circuits will be active, roughly from 1000-1500 EDT.
We are accepting registration from:
AUXC Candidates. This applies to operators who can present a US DHS/CISA AUXCOMM Course Completion certificate looking to begin or to progress toward completion of their Auxiliary Communicator (AUXC) Position Task Book (PTB), including the OHSDF Addendum. Please register your personal station and indicate that you will be qualifying for AUXC. You will need to operate at Haubrich Readiness Center in Columbus. If you are going for Category I qualification, you'll need to bring equipment needed to establish a field-expedient station. If you are going for Category II (fixed location) qualification, you have the option of bringing you own equipment or working from a station we make available to you.
Exercising Stations. Agency, home, and club stations can be registered to be written into the exercise scenario. Stations written into the scenario will have an exercise controller, actors, and instructions that indicate specific events and activity at their location and their role in the larger exercise.
Thank you for your interest in supporting the security and resilience of our communities.
